Janelle got this old school desk from her cousin up here. Thanks Christina! It is absolutely perfect for school. Janelle is so easy to teach and she's learning very quickly. I must say that I think I'm falling in love with the idea of homeschooling.

Janelle's big 3!

Janelle is only three but I think she should be on broadway! As I type this she is behind me pretending to be Aurora crying because she can't see her prince. She is such a tenderhearted daydreamer. Although Logan does test her at times, especially when he goes after her hair. She's always giving me hugs, kisses and "I love you mommy"'s. I can't imagine life without her.

It's been a while since I've updated this blog. Life just got busy I guess, but I plan to do better.This Boy moves fast so
it was tricky to get a shot in. Logan is so much fun but always manages to find trouble. I can't get enough of his bear hugs and smiles. I am starting to get sick of finding blocks in every dish or pot I take out of the cupboard though!

Family Vacation!

Family Picture on the Gettysburg battlefield. This vacation went much too fast. We had such a fun time and can't wait until Christmas when hopefully things will be a little slower paced since there won't be so many historical things to see.

Library of Congress. Very beautiful building, loved the tour even though our guide was a little too "liberal feminist" for my taste. The rough draft of the constitution and Thomas Jefferson's book collection were my favorite... I could look at old books all day.

Family Vacation!

Janelle and Logan were so good. They spent most of their time in these strollers while we walked all over DC.

Wish I could spend more time with the girls but I guess I have to take what I can get.

Janelle's room makeover!

As I was getting my stuff ready I came into this scene. Earlier Janelle said she was going nite nite but I didn't realize she meant in the canvas floor covering. She loves blankets and thought this was a new one for her.

The white stuff was spray on wall texture we thought we had to have to cover up all the popped out nails Brad fixed. You live and learn. Won't use that stuff ever again, has a different sheen that showed up through the primer and paint! Grrrrr

"Two" cute!

Logan thinks he needs something to hold or cuddle with to go to sleep. The baby doll must have been the closest thing in Brad's reach and it worked. As for Janelle, I was trying to take a picture of Brad in his military uniform but Janelle wouldn't get out of the way. Isn't she just precious!

camping!

Wake up sleepy head. Janelle tried to tell us that "Jesus doesn't' mind" if she sleeps with us but since that has never work well unless we want bruises all over we set her up on the couch. It must have been comfy enough because she didn't want to get up.

Brad's smiling because he thinks he's going to beat me at Rummy...twenty minutes later he was begging for mercy. I showed him none. Muha ha ha ha ha!

I wish I had more. It rained a lot so we didn't get outdoors much and when we did I always forgot the camera. Do I have to remember everything?! We went to a cabin up by the foothills here and it was so peaceful. We didn't see another person the whole time we were there. We only went for two nights and two days since there was no plumbing or electric. We had a blast though, especially Janelle and even Logan seemed delighted to be there. It took me a little bit to get over the fact that getting eaten by a bear wasn't likely, but that's a silly woman for ya.

Logan - 3 months

I think this is my last time doing this myself. I got some but I never got around to getting all I wanted to. Logan is such a smiley guy so he helped a lot.

Easter Pictures

We had a very nice and busy Easter. We have been blessed so much by God and we are amazed by His love in sending Christ to pay the debt of our sins. This debt wasn't paid until Christ rose from the grave and it is so worth celebrating. Christ is risen...He is risen indeed!

One week old!

He is such a good baby and reminds me so much of Janelle!

Welcome Baby Logan!

Logan Randal Dunford was born Jan. 15th @ 12:45 am. He was 8 lbs 11 oz (far cry from my doctors estimate of around 7 lbs earlier that day :) and 21 inches long. He had a little fluid in his lungs but they quickly fixed that and he was doing great by 7am. I feel great and had some stitches but not many. Janelle loves her baby Logan and is quite the mother hen, making sure he always has his blanket and toy and turning on his lullaby music on his bassinet.
